This global and national initiative is structured to serve 30 states and three countries, as a humanitarian project. The Tony Davis Ministry utilizes professional trainers and facilitators, to provide a Best Practice module conducive to the cultural, economic and social uniqueness of each community.
One of the goals of The Tony Davis Alliance Against Violence is to coordinate and develop a community collaboration of stakeholders comprised of faith-based, educational institutions, human service agencies, community organizations, law enforcement organizations, government agencies, private business sector and media collectively. Through the mobilizing of these entities into one body, cohesive efforts of strategic planning, identifying prevention and intervention strategies can be assess and developed to address the issue of violence in the community. Also, the collaboration will seek to address the barriers and impeders of existing departmental policy’s, dialogues and programs that do not support a community friendly nonviolence zone.
It is also our goal to create a better understanding of those various department agency policies and guidelines of operating. While utilizing methods of problem solving and seeking conflict resolutions for community benefits. With monthly meetings being facilitated to discuss and examine qualitative accomplishments. By doing these things the alliance and its collaborative agencies and stakeholders become the first-time responders in avoiding a corrosion of events that will cause disharmony and distrust in the community seeking to reduce the recidivism of violence.
